Born and raised in Italy, Michele’s passion for photography began with the gift of a camera from his parents. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Art in Milan with a degree in art from Giotto to Italian Renaissance and photography. He initially worked in a fashion studio until he realised, after discovering Carlo Scarpa, Giò Ponti and Piero Fornasetti masterpieces, that his future lay in the photography of interiors and architecture.
Since 2004, when he was just 29 years old, Michele works with Casa Vogue Italia, that gave him a wide international visibility; he also publishes on AD Italia, Russia, Elle Decoration Spain, Germany, Russia, South Africa, Thailand, Ideat, Marie Claire, Il Sole 24 Ore Cultura, ANDREW MARTIN INTERIOR DESIGN REVIEW and many other international magazines. Michele considers himself a very concrete and practical dreamer.
